Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index rose 109.50 points extending its gains for the second session.
On a weekly basis, the stock exchange lost 0.33% as of Friday close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,905.36, while Brent crude oil sold for around $74.82 per barrel as of 6.19 p.m. local time (1519GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 35.9665, the euro/lira exchange rate was 37.3603, and the British pound traded at 44.7558 liras.
