Türkiye’s BIST 100 down at midweek’s open

İSTANBUL

Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Monday at 13,868.17 points, down by 0.17% or 24.13 points.

At Friday’s close, the BIST 100 fell by 2.41% to 13,892.30 points, with a daily transaction volume of 177 billion liras ($3.64 billion).

As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 48.6580 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 56.2410 to the euro, and 65.6380 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,332, while Brent crude futures were trading at $107.5 per barrel.
