Türkiye, Uzbekistan to hold joint strategic meetings in Ankara

ISTANBUL

The Türkiye-Uzbekistan Joint Strategic Planning Group on Tuesday will hold its fourth meeting in the Turkish capital Ankara under co-chairs Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.

On the same day, the first meeting of the Türkiye-Uzbekistan 4+4 Mechanism will also be held, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, National Intelligence Organization head Ibrahim Kalin, and their Uzbek counterparts will also be present at the meeting.
