Despite “pressure from Zionist network,” Türkiye continues to advocate for justice, peace, and truth on every platform, fearlessly proclaiming what is right, the Turkish president said on Saturday.

“Despite all the pressure from the Zionist network, we advocate for justice, rights, and peace on every platform, and we do not hesitate to boldly speak the truth,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his message for Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice that begins on Sunday in Türkiye and many other parts of the world.

Erdogan dedicated the Muslim holiday to the people in Gaza, “who are observing it under the oppression of genocidal Israel.” Israel has killed more than 37,000 Palestinians in the blockaded enclave since last October, forced much of the 2.3 million people out of their homes and created conditions of famine.

Erdogan said victory will be for Palestinians, despite Israel’s actions. “Victory will hopefully be for Palestinian people, despite ‘all barbarism of child-killer Israel and its supporters,” he said.
