Türkiye edged Scotland 2-1 in a friendly match Wednesday.
Türkiye opened the scoring when defender Ozan Kabak netted a header in the 40th minute. He was assisted by Hakan Calhanoglu at Diyarbakir stadium in the southeastern province.
Cengiz Under doubled the lead with a close-range finish in the 49th minute. Scotland narrowed the gap to one with John McGinn’s left-shot foot in the 62nd minute.
The Turkish national team will face the Czech Republic in another friendly match on Nov. 19.
