Türkiye earns nearly $1.86B from hazelnut exports in 2023

ISTANBUL 

Türkiye earned $1.86 billion from hazelnut exports in 2023, a regional trade union announced on Friday.

The country exported 283,519 tons of hazelnuts last year, down 9.29% on a yearly basis, Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Union (KFMIB) said.

On a value basis, the country’s hazelnut exports rose by 6.62% to $1.86 billion year-on-year in 2023.

The exports were made to 121 countries.

Türkiye is the largest hazelnut exporter globally.
