The 2023-24 season fixtures for the Turkish top-tier football division Trendyol Super Lig draw were held on Tuesday as it will kick off on Aug. 11.
The 20-club Super Lig campaign will end on May 19, 2024, nearly a month before the UEFA EURO 2024.
Four clubs, who will complete the 2023-24 season in 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th spots, will be relegated to a lower division as the Turkish football body confirmed.
Tuesday’s draw was held at Istanbul’s Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Riva Facility.
The first half of the Super Lig will end with matchday 18 on Dec. 25.
The second half will start on Jan. 5 and go through to May 19. This season, the league’s second half will see 20 matchdays.
Defending Turkish champions Galatasaray will visit Kayserispor in the first week of the season.
One of the “Big Three” of Turkish football, Fenerbahce, who came in second last season, will start the new season at home as they will face Gaziantep FK in Istanbul.
Title contenders Besiktas will play against another Istanbul club, VavaCars Fatih Karagumruk, in the first week of the season, while Trabzonspor will take on Antalyaspor at home.
