ANKARA
Turkish Technic, the maintenance, repair, and overhaul arm of flag carrier Turkish Airlines, posted an all-time high revenue in 2022, according to its financial results statement issued on Tuesday.
Turkish Technic saw a record high annual hike of 37% in its revenues, reaching $1.42 billion last year.
The company’s market share grew to 1.9% in 2022.
“Closing 2022 with $1.42 billion in revenue and $119 million in operational profit, we achieved remarkable success in our company’s history,” said Ahmet Bolat, Turkish Technic’s chair.
Turkish Technic added new works to its service portfolio in 2022 such as completing base maintenance operations for Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350 aircraft for the first time, carrying out its first Boeing 777-300ER landing gear overhaul.
The company expanded its maintenance-repair capabilities and the range of services by adding some 1,193 aircraft parts to its capability in 2022.
It also provided base maintenance services to 649 aircraft, completed overhaul operations of 221 landing gears and serviced over 119,000 components last year.
