The Turkish benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,680.50 points, flat or 0.52 points up from the previous close.
On Tuesday, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index fell 0.52% to 10,679.98 points with a daily transaction volume of 126.5 billion liras ($3.84 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 32.9387 as of 9.57 a.m. (0657GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.3270, and the GBP/TRY rate was 41.8234.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,327.90, and the barrel price of Brent oil was around $84.72.
