The Turkish benchmark stock index closed Tuesday at 9,477.14 points, up 0.74% from the previous close.
The BIST 100 index, after starting the day at 9,553.24, gained 69.97 points from the close on Monday.
The lowest point for the index during the day was 9,412.10, while the daily high was 9,553.24.
As many as 71 indexes gained in value, while 27 closed the day with losses.
The total transaction volume reached 90.4 billion Turkish liras ($2.37 billion), while the overall value of the index was 8.63 trillion liras ($227.7 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 38.0085 as of 6.25 pm local time (1525GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 41.5210, and the GBP/TRY traded at 48.4710.
The price of gold was $3,008.90 per ounce, while the barrel price of Brent oil was $63.95.
