Turkish gymnasts win gold, bronze medals at World Challenge Cup

MERSIN, Türkiye

Two Turkish athletes won gold medals and a third picked up a bronze at the Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup on Sunday.

In the men’s still rings event, Türkiye’s Adem Asil took gold and Ibrahim Colak clinched the bronze medal.

Asil, 23, came in first with a score of 15.000 at the competition being held in Türkiye’s southern Mersin city.

Guan-Yi Lin of Chinese Taipei won the silver medal with a score of 14.500, while Colak landed on the podium with 14.400.

In the men’s parallel bars event, Türkiye’s Ferhat Arican secured a gold medal with a score of 14.800.

Robert Tvorogal of Lithuania won silver with 14.550 and Romanian Andrei Vasile Muntean ended on 14.400 to take the bronze.
