Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Albares over the phone on Wednesday.
The conversation focused on efforts to achieve a ceasefire and peace in Gaza, according to Turkish diplomatic sources, who did not provide additional information.
The call took place days after US President Donald Trump, at a White House press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, unveiled a 20-point plan to end Israel’s war on Gaza.
