Trabzonspor on Monday donated their UEFA Europa Conference League ticket earnings, which was nearly $330,000, to help earthquake victims in Türkiye, the Turkish football club said.

In a statement, Trabzonspor said that the Black Sea club had almost 6.2 million Turkish liras or $328,455 after last week’s home match against Swiss club Basel to send the all proceeds to Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).

Jens Stryger Larsen scored a second half goal to give a 1-0 win Thursday to Trabzonspor in a Europa Conference League playoff first-leg match against Basel at Trabzon’s Senol Gunes Sports Complex.

Trabzonspor will visit Basel in the playoff second leg at St. Jakob-Park on Feb. 23.

The winner will advance to the Round of 16.

At least 41,156 people were killed and 105,505 injured by two strong earthquakes that jolted southern Türkiye on Feb. 6, officials said Monday in the latest figures from the natural disaster.

The magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes, centered in Kahramanmaras province, affected more than 13 million people across 11 provinces, including Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Sanliurfa and Elazig.
