Turkish firm Karmod installs container offices in Venezuela’s shopping centers

ISTANBUL

Turkish construction company Karmod said Wednesday that its container structures will be used as security offices in shopping centers in Venezuela.

The container buildings will be used in two shopping centers in the cities of Cagua and Carabobo, according to a statement.

Karmod’s Export Sales Manager Ziya Yanik highlighted the versatility of the new-generation container structures, noting they offer practical solutions for various building needs.

“Originally designed for construction site purposes, container structures have now become a preferred alternative for offices, management buildings, and social housing projects,” said Yanik.

He emphasized that the safety, durability and energy efficiency of container buildings have increased their use in diverse settings.

It originated as construction site dorms and dining halls but now works for luxury management offices, project launch buildings and even residential homes, said Yanik.

He noted that the model’s adaptability to modern architectural designs makes it an innovative solution.

“In standard production, our containers use steel load-bearing systems and sandwich panel walls, but they also integrate well with glass, aluminum composite and wooden cladding in custom designs, allowing for the quick construction of high-end offices and residential villas,” he added.
