Toulouse win Coupe de France by hammering Nantes 5-1

Toulouse won the Coupe de France (French Cup) by hammering Nantes 5-1 on Saturday.

Logan Costa drew early blood in the fourth minute. Six minutes later, he netted again to make it 2-0 at Stade de France.

Forward Thijs Dallinga increased the lead with a goal in the 23rd minute and the fourth goal came in the 31st minute.

Ludovic Blas scored the only goal for Nantes on a penalty kick in the 75th minute.

Zakaria Aboukhlal ended the scoring in the 79th minute.

Toulouse, which was founded in 1970, bagged their maiden cup in the competition.

Another club named Toulouse FC clinched the cup in 1957 but that team was dissolved in 1967.
