The opposition Tisza Party is leading Hungary’s ruling Fidesz-KDNP alliance ahead of the 2026 parliamentary elections slated for Sunday, according to an AtlasIntel poll cited by Europe Elects Hungary on Saturday.
The survey puts Tisza at 52%, while Fidesz-KDNP stands at 39%, marking a 15-point decline compared with the 2022 election.
The far-right Our Homeland Movement is at 5%, down one point, while the Democratic Coalition is at 2% and the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party is at 1%, the poll shows.
The poll was conducted between April 5 and April 10, 2026, with a sample size of 1,587 respondents.
A separate polling average compiled using LOESS smoothing shows Tisza at 49% in 2026, up from 18% in 2024, while Fidesz-KDNP stands at 41%, down from 43% over the same period.
Hungary is set to hold parliamentary elections on Sunday.
