Suns get 5th straight win in NBA against Timberwolves, Johnson drops 29

The Phoenix Suns got their fifth straight win in the NBA by beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107 in NBA on Wednesday.

Cameron Johnson led the Suns with 29 points, while his teammate Chris Paul contributed 15 points and 12 assists at Footprint Center, Phoenix.

“That is a challenge I really enjoy,” Johnson said, “They play a little bit differently, so being able to execute what we worked on feels pretty good.”

Paul passed the 21,000 points mark in NBA after this game.

Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards both dropped 24 points each.

The Phoenix Suns lead the Western standings with 6 wins and 1 loss, while the Minnesota Timberwolves are placed 9th with 4 wins and 4 losses.
