The trade volume on Türkiye’s spot natural gas market showed an increase of 97.3% to 8.86 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Türkiye’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 4.49 million Turkish liras.
On Wednesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 9,739.95 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 909,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received 110.9 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 26.84 liras at 2.01 p.m. local time (1101 GMT) on Thursday.
