The trade volume on Türkiye’s spot natural gas market showed an decrease of 12.5% to around 8.82 million liras on Thursday, Türkiye’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Friday.
Total trade on Wednesday amounted to about 10.08 million liras.
On Wednesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,134.01 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 728,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received around 272.73 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Thursday.
US$1 equals 34.80 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Friday.
