September 19, 2023 3:11 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1500-1600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,594.97 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday’s electricity market shows an increase of 7.6% to around 1.22 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,117.34 liras and 2,128.95 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,700 liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,550.98 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 27.03 liras at 2.28 p.m. local time (1128 GMT) on Tuesday.
