June 20, 2023 5:12 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,206.01 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. (0500 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,141.98 liras at 3 a.m. (0000 GMT), the data confirmed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 8.87% to around 830.74 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,656.22 liras and 1,691.95 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,424.45 liras at 12 a.m (2100 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,244.97 liras at 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. (0200 and 0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 23.59 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Tuesday.
