July 11, 2023 4:04 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,499.98 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,688.06 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 1% to 1.14 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,033.41 liras and 2,051.47 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,390 liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,249.99 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 26.11 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
