January 24, 2023 1:30 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. (0500 – 0700 GMT) and 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1400 – 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,955 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 0.39% to 1.99 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,527.44 liras and 3,562.68 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. (0500 – 0700 GMT) and 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1400 – 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,900 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.81 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Tuesday.
