February 7, 2023 2:17 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,415 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. (1500 GMT) according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,600.01 liras at 00.00 a.m. and 04.00 (2100 and 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 5.76% to 1.57 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,636.25 liras and 2,707.16 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 3,650 liras between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. (0600 and 0800 GMT) while the lowest rate was determined at 1,499.97 liras at 5 a.m. (0200 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.83 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
