The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,949.99 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,999.98 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday’s electricity market shows an increase of 3.7% to 1.77 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,459.55 liras and 2,483.30 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,990 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,799.98 liras at 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0300, 0900 GMT), according to official figures.
