April 11, 2023 1:50 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,549.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,544.45 liras at 2 a.m. (2300 GMT previous day), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 5.3% to 1.04 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,140.37 liras and 2,176.56 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 2,600 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,499.96 liras at 2 a.m. (2300 GMT previous day), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.29 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
