Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Nov. 12

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., between 3 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (0500, and 1200-1700 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1649,99 liras at 12 p.m . local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 2.9% to around 1.55 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,559.18 liras and 2,580.43 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8.00 a.m, 9.00 a.m and between 15.00 p.m-21.00 p.m local time ( 0500,0600,1200-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1649.99 liras at 2.00 a.m, 6.00 a.m, 7. 00 am. local time (2300, 0300,0400 GMT).

US$1 equals 34.35 liras at 2.41 p.m. local time (1141 GMT) on Monday.
