Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, June 6

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,450 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set aa 900 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 23.6% to around 762.7 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,567.52 liras and 1,598.18 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,099.99 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 500 liras at 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. (2300 and 0300 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 21.21 liras at 2.41 p.m. local time (1141 GMT) on Monday.
