Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, June 13

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,266.29 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,488.99 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), the data confirmed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 0.24% to around 942.59 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,854.78 liras and 1,864.63 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,325.05 liras at 9 a.m. (0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 999.99 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 23.65 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Monday.
