February 27, 2023 3:00 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,650 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,175 liras at 12 a.m. (2100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 27.4% to 1.5 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,941.68 liras and 2,961.30 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set as 3,650 liras at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. (0500 and 1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 999.99 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.89 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Monday.
