August 12, 2024 4:01 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (1400-1800 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,063.00 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows an increase of 10.5% to around 1.88 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,658.14 liras and 2,679.94 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1700 – 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate at 1851.29 liras between 5 a.m. 6 a.m local time (0200-0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.52 liras at 2.41 p.m. local time (1141 GMT) on Monday.
