The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Monday.
The lowest rate is set at 2,200 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows an increase of 30.3% to around 1.98 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,073.61 liras and 3,093.18 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the rate was set at 749.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
