April 10, 2023 4:45 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,600 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,499.96 liras at 2 a.m. (2300 GMT previous day), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 11% to 994.25 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,019.70 liras and 2,040.32 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set as 2,400 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,000 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.29 liras at 2.36 p.m. local time (1136 GMT) on Monday.
