The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 9 a.m and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0600 GMT and 1300 – 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,053.99 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows an decrease of 2.25% to around 1.73 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,693.38 liras and 2,732.10 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 9 a.m and 11 a.m (0600 – 0800 GMT) and between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1100 – 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate at 2,054 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT).
