May 10, 2023 1:51 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,600 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600 – 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,248.01 liras 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 3% to 1.04 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,008.70 liras and 2,028.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 2,600 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., (1600 – 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,499.68 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.54 liras at 2.50 p.m. local time (1150 GMT) on Wednesday.
