The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,600 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 714 liras at 9 a.m. (0600 GMT), the data confirmed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 11.6% to around 603.9 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,528.05 liras and 1,544.62 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,580 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 250 liras at 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. (0700 and 0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 26.04 liras at 2.37 p.m. local time (1137 GMT) on Wednesday.
