The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,600 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,348.99 liras at 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. (0000 and 0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 4.1% to around 910.39 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,875.67 liras and 1,888.71 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,600 liras at 8 p.m. and 9.p.m. (1700 and 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,199.99 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 20.72 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Wednesday.
