The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,250.01 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 700 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday’s electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 37.08% to around 1.06 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,677.35 liras and 1,681.70 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,375 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,442.39 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.86 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
