December 25, 2024 4:16 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,799.97 liras at 3 a.m. and 11 p.m. local time (0000 and 2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows an increase of 0.2% to around 1.57 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,457.68 liras and 2,499.16 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate at 1,750.01 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT).
US$1 equals 35.19 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Wednesday.
