November 30, 2024 3:14 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 319.31 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 28.4% to around 1.16 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,241.95 liras and 2,260.85 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0600 GMT and 1100-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate at 1,799.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.66 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Saturday.
