The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,600 Turkish between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700 – 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 750 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 26.1% to 605.12 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,420.40 liras and 1,432.37 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set 2,600 Turkish between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600 – 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 500 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
