March 8, 2025 11:36 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,995 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 81 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 23% to around 1.05 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,886.26 liras and 1,911.49 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,995 liras, while the lowest at 1000 liras, according to official figures.
US$1 equals 36.45 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Saturday.
