The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,689.00 Turkish liras at 7 p.m local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 567 liras at 11 a.m local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 16.57% to around 1.02 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,906,98 liras and 1,907,98 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,661.99 liras at 7 p.m local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,248.98 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900 and 1000 GMT)).
US$1 equals 31.35 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
