The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local times (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 749.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 21.7% to around 1.11 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,016.89 liras and 2,026.89 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,690 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,894.99 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT).
US$1 equals 31.85 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Saturday.
