June 17, 2023 2:31 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. (2100 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 500 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), the data confirmed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 38.4% to around 459.89 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,123.94 liras and 1,125.28 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,400 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1700-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 999.99 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 23.62 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Saturday.
