The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,501.99 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 14.04 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 49.4% to around 460.48 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 877.21 liras and 861.75 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,698 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 124.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.7 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
