January 8, 2023 4:25 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 4,200 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1400-1500 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,624 liras at 1 p.m. (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 14.45% to 1.57 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,343.61 liras and 3,225.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (0500-0800 and 1400-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 2,655 liras at 2 a.m. (2300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.75 liras at 2.09 p.m. local time (1109 GMT) on Saturday.
