The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,000 liras between 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 20.7% to around 1.13 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,021 liras and 2,065.87 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1.799,97 liras between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (0000 and 0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 35.14 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
