The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at between 6 p.m.,and 10 p.m. local time (1500 and 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,324.10 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 12.44% to around 1.49 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,339.23 liras and 2,343.83 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. , 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600,1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate at 1,500 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.63 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
