April 22, 2023 4:58 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,779.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 10.00 liras between 8 a.m and 12 a.m (0500 and 0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 34.5% to 158.5 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 461.02 liras and 490.39 liras respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set as 2,997.99 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 15.01 liras at 9 a.m. (0600 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.40 liras at 2.21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) on Saturday.
